TODAY MARKS THE ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY OF THIS BLOG!!!
One year ago today I decided to listen to God and started this Blog. My husband, family and friends were cheering me on to start this Blog, but on the other hand I was not to sure.
Who am I? Who would want to read what God puts on my heart? I can’t even write so why would I even want to start a Blog? What am I going to post?
These were some of the thoughts running through my head last year and Casting Crowns song WHO AM I? Seems to fit perfectly for just how I was feeling:
I could feel God pulling at my heart to just trust Him and start the Blog. But I also knew the devil was trying to get me to doubt God and throw a monkey wrench in His plans He had for me through this Blog and for others.
But I decided to ignore the devil and go with God and jump!
So here we are now one year later and what Blessing it has been. 🙂
I want to thank everyone who reads this Blog if was not for y’all this Blog would not still be here today. Thank you for bearing with me through all the up’s and down this Blog has gone through.
But most importantly I give God all the credit for this Blog. He’s been my number one inspiration to write what He lays on my heart.
Ephesians 2:8-9 For you have been delivered by grace through trusting, and even this is not your accomplishment but God’s gift. You were not delivered by your own actions; therefore no one should boast.
My goals for this Blog since day one has always been that the words written here: point back to God, that they would bring y’all great joy to keep walking with the Lord no matter what your situation may be, that you would feel the love, compassion and concern that I have for each person who reads this Blog, that my story and the journey I am on with the Lord would bring y’all great encouragement to keep on believing, keep having faith and to keep on trusting the Lord!
1 Thessalonians 5:11 Therefore encourage one another and build each other up as you are already doing.
I want each person to remember this no matter how messed up you may think you are God doesn’t see you that way! Come to Him as you are that is all He ask and let Him be your healer.
Remember He can turn our messes into a light for others to see His Glory working through us. Matthews 5:16 In the same way, let your light shine before men, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father in heaven.
My dear Sister’s and Brother’s in Christ I leave this with you:
Fight the good fight for the faith; take hold of eternal life that you were called to and have made a good confession about in the presence of many witnesses. 1 Timothy 6:12
God Bless to all. 🙂
